Summer Beach House OOTD's
I'm so excited to be writing this post! My family and I went to Carpentaria, CA for a week and spent all day sunbathing on the beach and relaxing in the house we rented. Carpentaria is one of my favorite sleepy beach towns on the California coast.. it has one main street filled with indie coffee shops and vintage clothing stores. When you walk to the bottom of the road, you'll reach the beach, which has soft rolling waves, and docks you can swim out to and jump off. It really is a little piece of paradise.
Today I am going to share with you two of the outfits I wore while I was there. I have a very casual, laid back style, so these outfits are effortless to recreate! I'll give you links to where I got everything or similar items. Enjoy!
Outfit 1!
Family Dinner Night
Note: My hair is wet from the ocean, not greasy :')
This is one of my favorite go-to outfits. I love rompers because they are easy to style and you don't have to spend ages trying to find a shirt that matches the bottoms! I paired this white floral romper (similar here!) with a light wash denim jacket (similar here and here). I thought this jacket was very plain so I DIY'ed it and embroidered my name on the front and "California" on the back. This is such an easy DIY, and it completely transforms the jacket! As for accessories, all of my jewelry is from flea markets or gifts. As for shoes, I wore brown ankle booties (almost identical pair on sale here!) that are so comfy! This was the perfect outfit for going out for dinner on a warm evening!
Outfit 2!
Casual Beach Outfit
This is another simple outfit because it is a set, so naturally, they will go well together. Another bonus, the sets from Target so it's inexpensive! You can buy the top here and bottoms here. The jewelry is the same from the outfit prior and I wore my cult-favorite Birkenstocks. This outfit reminds me something you could wear to a summer festival or on a hot day.
